I started Studio Multitudes during a time of transition. A few years ago, I had been feeling disconnected from my job and as I began to reflect inward, I started to see many facets of myself that weren't being nurtured. In 2022, I began to divest from my job as an engineer, starting a PhD focusing on mental health and losing myself, quite happily, in a world of ideas. At this time, I also began to see that just as my intellect wanted to be nurtured, I also felt that time in nature and time creating things by hand were important ways to connect with myself and others. This is the spirit with which I came to start making ceramics and sharing beautiful things from the past with others. I go through different phases with ceramics, but for now I love to make pieces inspired by the beautiful nature that I see everyday here in Seattle, Washington. I hope that these pieces bring even a microgram of joy to you, and thank you for visiting.
